This investigation is a continuation of the former research on small strain regularized models of instabilities and localized deformations and has been focused on the following topics:

• Large strain thermomechanical material models accounting for inelasticity, instabilities and gradient enhancement, see the dissertation of B. Wcisło;
• Influence of rate-dependence on unstable material response in large strain thermo-plasticity, see the dissertation of M. Mucha.

It is related to the following scientific projects financed by the National Science Centre of Poland:

• Numerical analysis of instabilities of isotropic thermoplastic materials at large deformation, grant Opus 2014/15/B/ST8/01322;
• Thermo-mechanical analysis of propagating instabilities in metals, from experiments to reliable numerical prediction (THERMINST), grant Weave-Unisono 2023/05/Y/ST8/00006.
