Abstract

The paper deals with a problem of instabilities in geomaterials. The modified Cam-clay model with gradient regularization is used for soil described as a one- and two-phase medium. Finite elements with the discretization of displacements, pore pressure and plastic multiplier are implemented in the FEAP finite element package and used in numerical tests.
